Chinatown: Food and Cultural Festival

Have been to the Chinatown Port-Louis last week-end, Saturday night. The impressive response obtained from the members of the public for the last two years has prompted the organisers to hold this manifestation once again. This festival is a commendable initiative particularly as regards the promotion of Chinese cultural and traditional heritage, and show casing the Chinese rites and food diversity and at the same time reviving the old china town of the capital. It has become a must attend event.

See below some pictures (taken on Saturday night) for those who have not been able to attend: Chinatown roads, Heritage Court, Chinese Food etc…

Wow, this seems nice! I really should have gone there and take a superb meal. Above all: the atmosphere seems nice…

I’ll happily wait for next year… if this is becoming a yearly event…
